If you live abroad or elsewhere in Spain, start with an online consultation. If you are already in Santander or nearby, book an in-person appointment at Hospital Santa Clotilde.

Send your reports, choose a day and time, and talk to the doctor by video call. €150, about 30 minutes, in English.

Book an in-person appointment

Consultations take place at Hospital Santa Clotilde, Paseo de Altamira 35, Santander. The first consultation costs €125 (or is covered by many Spanish insurers). Leave your details and we will contact you to arrange a time, in English.

Before your visit

What to bring

Previous reports and scans (OCT, retinal photos, visual fields) and your glasses prescription — they make the consultation much more useful.
A list of your medicines, including eye drops.
Pupil dilation: if your eyes are dilated, you will not be able to drive for several hours. Come with someone or use public transport.
Arrive 10 minutes early to register at the hospital reception.
